2007-08 Basketball

Everyone's back bench and all, bringing up a couple of freshman, Jordan Potts a tall gaurd that has a nice shot, and a new player Chad Shepard, (think of a taller tyler parks)

Looks like a pretty good schedule.

Last year, Gate City and Twin Springs both played in a sort of mini-tournment over two nights just before Christmas. Lee High played and one other team I think. I wonder if they plan to have the same kind of deal again this year.

Who will be playing basketball at JIB this season? Begley, Stewart, Caudill, ...?

I believe Lebanon was the other team. I looked on Lee's schedule and don't see anything listed like last year either. Lee and Twin Springs are playing again but it's listed as a benefit game this time at Lee on the 30th.

I can't remember for sure. I was thinking it might have been Dobyns Bennett. I know GC usually plays them every year around Christmas time.

I don't think these games were on the schedule last year either... maybe just an extra something for charity or something.

those 3, devin talley and we dont know who will fill in that other spot yet

That's right. DB was in it too. It was TS/Burton (not Lebanon as I thought before) and GC/Lee on the first night then TS/Lee and GC/DB on the last. I seem to remember seeing it on Lee's, it was Gate City (at Twin Springs) and Twin Springs (at Gate City)..listed something like that I think if I'm not mistaken. Would like to see something like that again though.
